We are introducing a new sign out process for employees looking to borrow books when library staff are working remotely. You will find our new check out binder at the front of the library on the book pick up counter. If you borrow a book, we ask that you add your name, branch, and book title to the binder. Library staff will check the book out to your account when they are in the office and will send you a confirmation email with the book due date. This new process will ensure that all loans are tracked and that books do not go missing from our shelves. On days when the library is staffed in person, you are welcome to speak to one of the librarians who will sign the book out to your account directly.
The library has created a new online Research Hub. Here you will find resources that were prepared for past research questions. The Research Hub is located on SharePoint and the access link can be found on the Research Hub page of the library website. Library staff are in the process of uploading past material and new material will be added as new research requests are received. Material in the Research Hub dates from 2019 and covers a variety of research topics. Material consists of source lists with links to access various research sources. In many cases, links are accompanied by summaries that provide an overview of the content of each source. We invite you to consult this resource and we continue to welcome your research requests, which can be submitted via email or by filling out our research request form.
The library has created a set of guidelines outlining our research services. Research assistance is one of the library's main service offerings and this guide provides clarification on the kinds of research services available. The guide also outlines the process for submitting a research request and gives information on the library's online research hub, which will soon be available.
This guide is part of the library's series of quick guides. We invite you to visit the quick guide section of the website to view the other guides that are available.
The Library gives you access to a Bloomberg Professional terminal. The Library has developed a new research guide on the OECD iLibrary. The iLibrary is a resource of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) that provides online access to OECD publications. Available publications include eBooks, working papers and policy papers, journals, and data. In addition, the iLibrary offers a selection of podasts that discuss timely topics related to the global economy, finance, and social policy.
